OPSBA statement regarding the OHRC Right to Read report

OPSBA is committed to advocating for each and every student to have the supports and services that enable them to fully engage in learning and to be successful in school and in life. In its Right to Read report the Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has reinforced the critical importance of early reading to overall student success.

Local Government Week – October 18 to 22

Local Government Week aims to increase youth and public awareness about the important role local government plays in our communities. Please join OPSBA, our member trustees and our education partners in raising civic awareness and promoting the role of trustees among Ontario students.

The Ontario Public Student Trustee Leadership Scholarship

The Ontario Public Student Trustee Leadership Scholarship is an award jointly provided by the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) and the Public Board Council of OSTA-AECO. The intent is to recognize outstanding achievement in a leadership role and provide financial support to a graduating public board student trustee to assist with their post-secondary education plans (University, College, or Apprenticeship).
