The Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) is pleased to announce that the Council of Trustees’ Associations/School Board Associations (CTA) and the provincial government have successfully negotiated a tentative settlement on central terms of a collective agreement with the ETFO Education Workers.

Honouring the third National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
September 30, 2023, marks the third National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, schools and school boards across Ontario, including students, staff, and school communities, will be commemorating the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools, which more than 150,000 First Nations, Métis, and Inuit children were forced to attend between the 1870s and 1997.
