Toronto, December 19, 2023 – The Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) is pleased to announce that it has ratified the tentative agreement that was reached with ETFO Teachers and Occasional Teachers on November 21, 2023.
“We know that the parties have worked very hard for more than a year to reach this agreement and are grateful for their efforts,” said OPSBA President Cathy Abraham. “Teachers provide an important service in the daily lives of students and families and the agreement underscores those contributions. We’re extremely happy that our Board of Directors has ratified this agreement.”
The Association continues to actively participate in the bargaining process with the Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario.
