The Lionel High School Chemistry Scholarship is a Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) scholarship that was established to assist high school students who show an interest in studying chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering at a postsecondary institution but would not be able to attend without significant financial assistance. The scholarship can be applied to a BSc program, a pre-university 2-year program, a diploma program at a college, or Cégep, within the year of graduation. The scholarship is given up to four years of tuition in the program at $4000 a year. Selection is based on achievement in school, interest in chemical-related studies, and financial need. Application deadline is March 2, 2020.
