Tragedy opens heart, bigotry doesn’t, Feb. 2
Martin Regg Cohn is right in saying that classrooms in this province should be a sanctuary, a place of learning, fostering and welcoming. Actions or words that violate that sanctuary, especially coming from anyone with responsibility within the school system, are unacceptable and must be answered with transparency and a commitment to heal the wrong.
