On May 11, OPSBA was a signatory to a Canadian School Boards Association letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau supporting Bill C-241, a private member’s bill that would amend the Excise Tax Act to increase the GST rebate for school authorities (including school boards) from 68% to 100%.
