The STEM Fellowship’s Digital Citizenship Graduation Award (DCGA) is a recognition for the unique contributions made by students in the digital realm.

The DCGA recognizes graduating Canadian high school and CÉGEP students that have demonstrated responsibility, innovation, and creativity in the digital world throughout their high school years. Award recipients go beyond academics as they succeed in learning about digital tools through their classes or by themselves. Their projects or contributions demonstrate leadership in their school or their community at large.

Recipients of this award will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and coaching and is an excellent opportunity for students to further develop their skills and leadership abilities in the digital field.

The award is to be handed out at graduation ceremonies, and all graduating Canadian high school students and CÉGEP students are eligible. Each school may nominate up to two students for the DCGA. To participate, schools should start by registering for DCGA accreditation, then establish a committee at your school to determine the criteria for this award. Schools can decide to engage in partnerships with the various members of the school community to deliberate on the potential nominees.
